GO RED FOR WOMEN'S HEART HEALTH

This image highlights the North Jersey Alumnae Chapter’s annual Go Red for Women’s Heart Health initiative—a powerful campaign dedicated to raising awareness about heart disease, the leading cause of death among women. Sorors dressed in striking red attire stand together in solidarity, symbolizing their commitment to educating the community about prevention, early detection, and overall cardiovascular wellness. The accompanying event flyer promotes a Heart Health Fair featuring screenings, workshops, fitness sessions, nutrition guidance, and expert-led discussions designed to empower women to take charge of their heart health.
Aligned with Delta Sigma Theta’s Physical and Mental Health thrust, the program emphasizes the importance of healthy living while supporting national efforts to combat heart disease. All proceeds from the event benefit the American Heart Association, reinforcing NJAC’s dedication not only to awareness but also to supporting research, outreach, and life-saving advocacy. Through this vibrant and meaningful initiative, NJAC helps ensure that women in the community have the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to live healthier, longer, and stronger lives.
