DELTA DAYS: UNION COUNTY

Delta Days in Union County reflects the North Jersey Alumnae Chapter’s ongoing commitment to empowering residents through informed civic participation and policy awareness. This initiative brings together Delta women, local officials, community advocates, and residents to examine issues shaping Union County—ranging from education and public safety to health equity, housing, and economic development. Through panel discussions, legislative updates, and collaborative conversations, participants gain valuable insights into how local government operates and how their voices can influence meaningful change.

Aligned with Delta Sigma Theta’s Political Awareness and Involvement thrust, Delta Days in Union County fosters a deeper understanding of civic responsibility while encouraging proactive engagement in the democratic process. The program strengthens relationships between community members and elected leaders, provides a platform for discussing pressing concerns, and inspires advocacy rooted in equity and justice. By hosting this important event, NJAC continues its longstanding legacy of promoting leadership, amplifying community voices, and advancing public policy that uplifts families across Union County.
