FIGHT AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING

This collage shows North Jersey Alumnae Chapter’s powerful commitment to combating human trafficking, a critical social justice issue that disproportionately affects women, children, and vulnerable populations. Through awareness campaigns, educational outreach, and hands-on community service, NJAC works to inform the public about the warning signs of trafficking and provide vital resources—including the National Human Trafficking Hotline—to those in need. Sorors collaborate with local organizations, assemble emergency support kits, and host workshops that empower community members with knowledge and prevention tools.

Aligned with Delta Sigma Theta’s mission of Political Awareness and Involvement and its historic legacy of protecting women and advocating for human rights, NJAC’s efforts extend beyond awareness to direct action and survivor support. These images capture sorors packaging supplies, sharing information, and standing in solidarity against exploitation. Through sustained advocacy, NJAC helps strengthen community defenses against trafficking while uplifting survivors with compassion, dignity, and practical assistance. This initiative reflects the chapter’s unwavering dedication to justice, safety, and the protection of all individuals from harm.
