PACKING SUPPLIES FOR GHANA

This image captures members of the North Jersey Alumnae Chapter actively participating in an International Awareness & Involvement initiative focused on packing essential supplies for communities in Ghana. Surrounded by donated items and working together with joy and purpose, the sorors embody Delta Sigma Theta’s long-standing commitment to global outreach and humanitarian service. Their efforts reflect the Sorority’s belief that meaningful impact extends beyond local borders, addressing needs across the African diaspora and fostering connections grounded in cultural respect and empowerment.
By gathering materials such as clothing, hygiene products, educational supplies, and other necessities, NJAC demonstrates its dedication to supporting international communities and responding to global challenges with compassion and action. This project aligns with Delta’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, particularly its commitment to International Awareness and Involvement, which has historically included global initiatives in health, education, and economic development. The image stands as a testament to NJAC’s spirit of service—showing sorors united in sisterhood, working hands-on to uplift families an ocean away, and continuing the Sorority’s legacy of international advocacy and care.
