HOSTING GHANAIAN WOMEN

North Jersey Alumnae Chapter’s commitment to International Awareness & Involvement as members warmly welcome women visiting from Ghana. Through meaningful dialogue, shared meals, and cultural connection, the chapter fosters a spirit of global sisterhood that reflects Delta Sigma Theta’s long-standing dedication to international service and cross-cultural engagement. The gathering offers an opportunity for learning, relationship-building, and the exchange of ideas that strengthen the bond between the Sorority and communities across the African diaspora.

By hosting Ghanaian women, NJAC underscores its belief in the power of global partnerships and cultural understanding. Such events deepen awareness of international issues affecting women and families, promote unity, and create space for collaborative problem-solving grounded in mutual respect. The interaction captured in this photograph exemplifies Delta’s vision of building bridges worldwide—uplifting communities not only through humanitarian aid, but also through personal connection, shared experience, and the celebration of heritage. This moment stands as a testament to NJAC’s role in advancing meaningful international relationships and continuing Delta Sigma Theta’s legacy of global empowerment.
